PAVEL YAKUSHEV
Pavel Yakushev is a contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, street art, and mixed-media sculpture. Based in Galicia, Spain, he creates work that combines imaginative storytelling with a strong visual language rooted in symbolism, human connection, and personal expression.
Growing up in Kolomna, Russia, Pavel developed an early interest in both visual art and creative writing. While metal remains an important material within his practice, his work extends beyond sculpture into painting and large-scale artistic projects that explore memory, identity, and the human experience. Through layered compositions and distinctive imagery, he creates worlds that invite viewers to reflect, dream, and engage with narratives beyond the everyday.
Pavel has exhibited internationally and collaborated on numerous artistic projects throughout Europe. Together with his brother, acclaimed metal sculptor Anton Yakushev, he has participated in exhibitions and public art initiatives that emphasize humanism, compassion, and the transformative power of art. Their collaborative works often center on themes of hope, resilience, and imagination.
