Join science educator and artist James Adams in this exploration of Central Oregon trees. From the timberline on the high alpine slopes of the Cascade Mountains to the west to the dry arid sage spattered landscape of the Great Basin Desert to the East, Central Oregon has a beautiful diversity of native tree species to explore and enjoy. Using art as a lens we will learn about this arboreal abundance as well as the habitats that support them. The class will use graphite, pen and ink and watercolor as the mediums to explore. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own supplies should you choose.
