Henna, June 27th

Take art to another level in our henna class! Henna tattoos are beautiful temporary tattoos that last for about two weeks, depending on how often the designated area is washed. This creamy dye is all-natural and is prepared from a plant called Lawsonia inermis, or otherwise known as the henna tree. Henna tattoos have a brownish-red hue, and the darkness of the tattoo increases the longer it stays dried on the skin. Your teacher, Hanna, will provide tubes of henna dye, stencils, and many examples of designs to look at. You will learn how to apply henna, create awesome designs, and will also have the opportunity to get tattooed by Hanna.
