EMILY LIVENGOOD

Emily Livengood creates acrylic landscape paintings that explore the emotional experience of the Pacific Northwest and High Desert. Her work blends impressionistic technique with a contemporary approach to color, inviting viewers to pause and feel the atmosphere of the places she paints.

Livengood holds a BS from Iowa State University, where she studied biological pre-medical illustration and ecology. She later earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and now owns Rainwood Integrative Medicine in Bend, Oregon, a clinic focused on supporting midlife women. Alongside her medical career, she has continued to study drawing and painting and has participated in exhibitions throughout the region.

Her background in art, ecology, and medicine informs a style that is both expressive and grounded in observation. Each painting reflects not only the beauty of the landscape but also the layered emotional experience it evokes.
